*Job Description:*

        Candidate will function as the technical engineering lead engineer.
Role includes implementation, deployment, and Tier 3-level support of
Microsoft SCCM 2012 in an environment which consists of over 5,000
registers, user desktop workstations, laptops, and servers.   The candidate
will also support the Operating System (OS) patching infrastructure such as
WSUS as it applies to mandatory security updates to the enterprise in
addition to offering recommendations for improving/enhancing the current
software distribution processes and procedures.

*Minimum Education and Experience:*

   - BS degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or related field with
   2-4 years’ experience as a Systems Engineer, or 5-10 years’ experience as a
   Systems Engineer-Senior can be accepted in lieu of education requirement.
   - Expertise and skills in System Center technologies that cross all
   tiers, hardware, storage configuration and configuration management.
   - Knowledge and understanding of tools, procedures, and operational
   constructs.
   - Operational skills and expertise in the following technologies:
   Windows Server 2003/2008 System Administrator experience, Backup/Disaster
   Recovery, SQL 2005/8 Database and SQL Reporting, SCCM 2007, SCOM 2007,
   Active Directory, Intermediate Network Management, UNIX, LINUX, , Microsoft
   Virtualization, VMware Virtualization, Network Infrastructure Components,
   HP hardware and Dell hardware.

*Required Skills:*

      Experienced in identifying/capturing requirements, designing,
developing, system and security testing, documenting, and implementing
large scale enterprise information technology projects/solutions.

      Experienced in the installation, configuration, and utilization of MS
SCCM 2012 to deploy/patch software packages to thousands of desktop
workstations, laptops, and servers.

      Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM 2012’s:  Architecture,
 Sites, Collections Distribution points, SCCM database, Windows Server
2012/2008R2+Active Directory,  deployment technologies, Utilization of
change management/change control processes and procedures, Proven
experience in documenting system requirements, design, implementation, and
operations document deliverables,  Independent, self-starting, innovative,
deadline-driven, mindset.

      The candidate will provide System Center engineering, technical
support, integration engineering, testing, and evaluation. You will support
the sustainment, operations, and maintenance for Microsoft Systems
Management Server, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007/2012;
and System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) 2007/2012 applications and
related hardware/software per enterprise System Center architecture,
design, and build guidance.

*Highlights of Responsibilities* :

   - Provide operational engineering support for the CM process in support
   of routine patching, synchronization with day- to-day operational issues of
   the System Center software, hardware, and storage and network
   infrastructure.
   - Maintain standard baseline configuration within the lab.
   - Initiate system Change as necessary and support the CM processes for
   routine sustainment
   - Perform tests of proposed changes (such as patching) and provide
   support to operational organizations supporting Change Requests and
   compliance.
   - Conduct technical reviews of any changes to day-to-day configurations
   (within SLA days of tasking).
   - Validate all sustainment of changes (such as patching or configuration
   changes) approved by various Technical Review Boards before they are
   fielded into production, and provide written results within SLA of test
   completion.
   - Document all changes successfully validated in the CM System Center
   accurately.
   - Support re-engineering efforts required by integration to AD, and
   other systems external to System Center via approved data standards.
   - Draft the System Center Implementation Support Plan.
   - Provide source documentation needed to complete project configuration
   management plans for System Center capabilities.
   - Document project technical solutions and schedules within the
   established suspense, and adhere to operational requirements and technical
   standards via the system design.
   - Test functionality of the System Center capability management tools
   and applications to the requirements received.
   - Assess site-specific architecture and current hardware limitations.
   Conduct testing for implementation of new System Center technologies and
   develop documentation to meet identified suspense dates.
   - Perform 8 x 5, on-call engineering Tier III enterprise support for
   resolving complex technical and functional issues.
