This entails access by a ~40 person team through a portal to deploy software to as many as 160K users across the enterprise. The goal is to streamline, automate, and speed up the process for as much of the software deployment function as possible through an easy-to-use UI. In addition to .NET programming experience, the resources need experience in the following technical areas: strong UI, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, REST services, API calls to SCCM. The UI to be developed should support Linux, Windows, Mobile – to cover whatever the developers need for cross-platform deployment. The .NET resources need to be developers as opposed to architects – one senior developer and one junior. Home Depot uses the Agile methodology and needs developers who are experienced in Agile and JIRA.
