This individual is responsible for the new development and support of major web based application that is critical to client’s global business. Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications using Java/J2EE technologies. - Work closely with BA and QA team members to understand requirements and design and ensure system meets business and technical objectives. - Able to research issues independently and solve problems. - Able to balance work priorities for support with development project needs. - Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed applications and externally purchased software products. - Take lead on providing technical solutions that ensure applications meet or exceed extremely high performance and availability service level agreements. - Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications. - Work with business clients, business IT personnel and development staff to avoid communication gap and ensure customer / client satisfaction. - Follow Change Management, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance processes to ensure full compliance with Development Lifecycle process and standards. - Experience working with RF technologies and/or warehousing systems is a plus. Education: - BA or BS in a related field (CS, EE, MIS, Business Administration) or equivalent experience required.
