Job Description:
Maintain existing MHARS Oracle portals sites including but not limited to
Adult Housing, ACT, AOT, and Kids Indicators, to meet the operational
business requirements of the agency.
Analyze and develop OBIEE 11G technical solutions for new requirements.
Complete requirements analysis, capture and document the customer's
business and technical needs
Maintain legacy SAS reports and create custom SAS reports as needed.
Contribute to the design and implementation of the metadata and/or
reporting components of the solution (building and/or modifying OBIEE 11G
Repositories). This includes testing and deployment of the components
Ensure that development activities adhere to the OMH architectural strategy
so that overall business intelligence data integrity is maintained.
Build business and presentation layer within OBIEE 11G and maintain
existing OBIEE products to meet the business requirements of the project.
Create reports and graphs using OBIEE 11 G, incorporating into Oracle
WebCenter as necessary, to meet the business requirements of the project.
Complete testing of all reports, dashboards and analytics in all
environments prior to business owner review/approval.

platform
· Highly skilled in designing and developing reports and dashboards
on OBIEE version 11.x platform
· Advanced knowledge of Explain Plan, Ref Cursors, Constraints,
Triggers, Indexes-B-tree Index, Bitmap Index, Views, Inline Views,
Materialized Views, Database Links, Export/Import Utilities
· Advanced OBIEE reports and dashboards development skills
· Must be capable of multi-tasking; must be an efficient and
effective problem solver

This role entails the following:

   - Work with the Data Architect and OBIEE Developers to:

Customer is expecting a very strong  senior OBIEE resource for onsite who
can guide them in making the right choices. So it is important that we
identify that right profile.

 

Should have knowledge to 

1. install OBIEE

2. Upgrade/patch activities includes to OBIEE server, Web server

3. Back up code at regular interval

4. Do high level Design reviews for different projects

5. Resolve OBIEE tool related issues with or w/o Oracle help

6. Figure out Impact / Root cause for any server related incident

 

1. Knowledge of RPD Development/ Webcat Development

2. Should have knowledge of overall BI / Data Modeling

3. Should have used Siebel Analytics

4. Should be aware of Linux/Unix scripting

5. Oracle Knowledge required

6. Should have 8+ years of experience minimum

Role: OBIEE Developer

RATE 45/ hour.

Location: Raleigh NC

 

Qualifications: 

Required Experience 

The candidate must have at least 4 years exposure to OBIEE or Siebel
reporting tools and must have participated in the deployment of OBIEE
reporting tool . The candidate must have a solid grasp of the following
skills: architecture, automation, complex report building. The ideal
candidate will currently work in the IT field and have proven
development/support skills. These skills will have been gained within an MIS
environment where the candidate has acquired good report development skills
and a broader understanding of IT systems. A good understanding of Oracle
relational databases is required and knowledge of alternative tools such as
MS Analysis Services or Business Objects is desirable. They will join the
MIS team in an OBIEE Developer role and be expected to develop applications
independently under the direction of the stream leader. They can expect to
build on their Essbase/IT knowledge and grow within the role. 

-Candidate will have experience with Reporting tools like OBIEE+, Siebel,
Oracle 10g PLSQL,CA Clarity 

Responsibilities include: 

- Work under supervision to code and unit test application components or
modules of relatively low complexity. Deliverables and schedules are set by
others. 

- Develop understanding of client's requirements. Work under supervision to
develop working code from technical specifications. Plan and conduct
successful unit and performance testing. Participate in code reviews and
incorporate learnings into work practices 

- Learn and apply standard development and change management methodologies 

- Develop technical documents with guidance. Participate in design reviews
and incorporate learnings into work practices. 

- Build awareness of risks associated with application development and of
their potential impacts within IT, on the business, and on the firm's
reputation. 

-Provide 2nd level support outside normal office hours (including weekends)
in rotational manner
