*Need Product owner in PA - 1 year contract!* Position : Product owner Location : Philadelphia,PA Duration : 1 year Job Responsibilities: • Collaborate with key stakeholders (ranging from System Owners, Business Product Owners, Business Product Managers, Scrum Teams, Agile Leadership Team) to define, develop, shape and refine requirements of a complex software solution at the heart of the company’s business. • Define, prioritize, and clarify Initiatives, Epics, Features, User stories; working with other Product Owners to understand use cases, features, business & technical domain rules and overall product goals. • Work with scrum teams to continuously improve product ownership and other agile processes. • Collaborate with the Scrum Master to run successful Release Planning and Iteration/Sprint Planning sessions, as well as Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives. • Understand and communicate the requirements of our systems as we scale and continue to develop. • Maintain the functional and technical quality of the work being delivered by setting and evaluating expectations and acceptance criteria. • Communicate priorities based on well-defined and measured business cases. • Establish goals and metrics to measure effectiveness after release; monitor & report on progress. • Produce technically focused user stories, and collaborate with scrum teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility. • Build and groom product backlog(s). Create and groom short, medium and long-term product roadmaps and get internal agreement with key stakeholders. • Own and maintain product documentation. Study competitive offerings in the market and anticipate customer needs. • Identify and manage key systems metrics used to advise technical direction. • Understand and advocate best practices in high-level system designs. • Develop capacity planning and DR plan. REQUIRED SKILL SETS: • Strong knowledge of agile development practices (especially Scrum and / or Kanban), methodologies and tools.
