The scope of both projects is to create analytical data stores for niche business areas. Both projects will have dependencies with other strategic initiatives being executed during the same timeframe. Assignment Responsibilities: Under general supervision, assume primary responsibility for the project management activities on the project. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining the project plan and schedule, defining the work breakdown structure, identifying critical path, assigning resources to tasks, and tracking progress against the schedule. Communicate project status and schedule progress to project leadership through weekly meetings. Ensure that the project adheres to the stated scope, schedule, and budget. Identify dependencies with other strategic projects and ensure on time delivery of key deliverables. Establish project controls for managing risks and issues and ensure mitigation plans are developed for high priority risks. Escalate risks and issues to project leadership and stakeholders when appropriate. Develop and communicate change requests to project leadership and stakeholders for review and approval. Maintain project actuals and forecasts and provide monthly budget variance reports to project leadership and stakeholders. The projects will be managed using primarily Agile SCRUM project management methodology, but will include some aspects of Waterfall project management methodology. The project manager will be responsible for working with project leadership and the project team to develop and maintain the project backlog, run sprint planning meetings, sprint review meetings, and daily SCRUM meetings. Ensure that sprint goals align with the overall project schedule.
