*Location: Somerset NJ* *Start Date: Immediate* *Duration: 6+ months* *No. Of Positions**:** 1* *Client: Cognizant Technology Solution* * * *Configuration Management Database is a must*** *Responsibilities: * • Assisting with the design and development of an Enterprise-wide BMC Atrium CMDB solution • Analyze business requirements submitted for data needed in the CMDB • Develop Functional Specifications and Design Specifications for solutions • Participate in detailed data analysis and requirements analysis activities • Perform data mapping of source data into the CMDB Common Data Model • Development of data feeds from existing source systems into the CMDB • Development of Reconciliation Rules for merging data from separate source systems • Development of scripts to support the Configuration Management process • Development of solutions to integrate the Change and Configuration Management processes • Perform troubleshooting of data quality issues *Skills required:* • In-depth knowledge of IT Service Management - particularly in the areas of Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management • ITIL Certification and a familiarity with ITIL Best Practices highly desired • Strong scripting skills • Programming experience with BMC Remedy products • Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases *-- Thanks and Regards, Vinaya Kumar Sr. Resourcing Specialist Systel Inc.
