*BI Developer*

The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer will be responsible for the design
and development of reporting solutions for the client.
Responsibilities
* Work with clients to determine business requirements for
reporting and analysis
* Design and build multi-dimensional cubes for reporting
* Develop reports, dashboards and scorecards
* Create technical documentation
* Test solutions and resolve issues
Requirements
* 3-5 years of experience designing and developing BI solutions in
a project-oriented environment
* Proficiency in SQL including the use of SQL editors, stored
procedures, database triggers and optimizing SQL statements.
* Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts including: *data
modeling, reporting, analytics, and visualization*
* Experience with Microsoft or other leading BI reporting tools

· modeling is the big one here. They need to be able to translate
the business requirement into a data model that will meet the reporting
needs. ( star schema, snowflake schema, etc..)
· *Warehouse concepts and theory is also big here. Inmon vs.
Kimball. Data warehouse vs Data Mart, Multidimensional Cubes, Slowly
changing dimensions*
· Knowledge of the latest Microsoft tools
