Job Tittle : Oracle BI Developer. Location: Houston, TX. Duration: 12 Months Contract *Rate: $58/hr On C2C MAX.* *Description & Required Skills:* The BI Designer/Developer will be responsible for developing and testing broadly-distributed and/or complicated reports (i.e. those not appropriate for creation by business-side Power Users), in accordance with the DW efforts adopted architecture and standards. In-depth experience with at least one or more leading BI tool i.e. Oracle BIEE, Business Objects, Microstrategy, Cognos etc. Solid understanding of BI technologies like OLAP, HOLAP, MOLAP, Cubes, Dashboards, Scorecards Ability to design multidimensional models like STAR schema and Snowflake schema Work with Business Analyst(s) and Reporting and Information Delivery Architect to design solutions that simultaneously meet both functional and architectural requirements Attempt to leverage all existing functionality when crafting solutions to keep the number of delivery components (e.g. reports) to a minimum Constantly strive to raise the ability of other report developers (e.g. Power Users) in the enterprise by: Supporting training efforts and participating in them as appropriate Providing one-on-one desktop support where applicable Promoting the adoption and use of best practices and standards * Thanks & Regards....?
