Title: Lead Automation Test Engineer posted on 2014-10-07 15:24:53 Job Description:Title: Lead Automation Test Engineer Location: Richmond, VA Length: Contract-To-Hire. Actively seeking an experienced Technical Lead/Master Engineer with expertise in leading the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems. Youll have the opportunity to stay close to code while also providing functional, technical, and/or process leadership and leading or mentoring software engineers on complex and high priority IT projects. Desired skill set: Java - hands on coding, build scripts, Maven, Ant, or Jenkins, Agile/Scrum, and Continuous Integration and Deployment experience. Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of multi-platform application systems Automate and script building, testing and deploying of our applications Continuously improve and re-engineer the deployment process to push code faster, achieve better quality, satisfy stakeholders and delight customers Collaborate with developers, business partners, architects, and other groups to identify technical and functional needs of systems, and determine priority of needs Ensure adherence to defined development life cycle, good software design practices, and Architecture strategy and intent Responsible for key system design and integration decisions; and for communicating decisions to individuals implementing the system Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or military experience - Degrees and university/college must be on resume At least 2 years of experience working in a defined Software Development Life Cycle environment (SDLC) - requirements gathering/reviews, systems and application design, development and testing At least 5 years of experience in design and coding utilizing Java or .NET and Maven or Ant or Jenkins - individual components (programs, sub-routines), complete systems, interaction of multiple systems Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Experience with Agile, Scrum and/or XP Ability to code and script using multiple languages Hands-on with the administration of Subversion, Git or Perforce SCM repositories Mastery of Maven, Jenkins, IBM Urban Deploy or other CI/CD tools and deployment pipeline management applications Working knowledge of Java in a J2EE container environment Management experience of J2EE containers: Oracle Weblogic or Apache Tomcat Ability to use a variety of open source and commercial technologies and tools Embrace, practice and evangelize frequent, incremental code testing and. deployment Strong hands on experience with test automation tools, such as, Selenium or Cucumber Comfortable collaborating and communicating in a large team environment *Click here to view full job description and apply <http://ejobsville.com/display-job/259161> (Registration not mandatory to apply for this job)* ------------------------------ Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
