Title: OBIEE Opening posted on 2014-09-23 13:37:16 Job Description *Job Location : Cary , North Carolina* *Project Duration : LONG TERM* *REQUIREMENTS:* • At least 6-8 years’ experience in Hands on experience in design and development in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) • At least 3 years’ experience in Hands on experience in Data Integration • At least 4 years’ experience in Hands on experience in Data Modeling and OBIEE star schema • Installation/load balancing and Configuration, Security, Dashboard Candidates will need to be familiar with the OBIEE data model and comfortable to interact with technical/IT and business users to understand requirements, reporting, and dashboards. This individual will be building the design – passing it to the off-shore team for development, review code, provide clarification as needed and work with the client to ensure it is up to satisfaction (customer support). Day to day breakdown: (2/3) Design/Architecture (1/3) Development • Experience in implementing BI projects from requirement definition through production deployment and support. • Create detailed design, technical documents and effort estimates. • Experience in designing and developing OBIEE Metadata Repository i.e. Physical Layer, Business model, mapping and presentation layer for various subject areas. • Experience in developing and configuring new Dashboards, Answers Requests, Prompts, IBots and BI Publisher reports as per user requirements. • OBIEE 11x repository design/development, experience OBIEE 11x report design/development experience • OBIEE 11x administration/capacity planning experience • Should be able to assist in application performance tuning efforts creating Aggregates, Fragmentation, Materialized views, indexes, partitions etc. • Should be able to Provide suggestions on OBIEE reports • Design/development/enhancements as per Oracle recommended best practices • Should be able to manage Repository rollouts to TEST, QA and PROD environments requiring merging repository with Master Repository • Should be able to coordinate activities onsite & offshore towards meeting project timelines • Must have experience managing a team of developers and mentoring experience. • Should have the ability to plan and execute development projects. • Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts • Familiar with UNIX environment • Strong analytical and problem solving skills. • Effective communication skills, ability to communicate on both business and technical level. • Resource should be self-motivated and quick learner. • Resource should have experience in supporting Data Warehouse applications, Ticket handling and change control process *Click here to view full job description and apply <http://ejobsville.com/display-job/250289> (Registration not mandatory to apply for this job)* ------------------------------ Best regards, eJobsVille.com - For The Best Tech Jobs In Town -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
