You will represent the end user and evangelize user-centered methodologies across the product team to ensure a design that truly meets people’s needs. *Job Responsibilities:* · Understand user needs and goals. · Collaborate with the development team to envision an exceptional product experience based on an understanding of user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints. · Create task flows, wireframes, prototypes and other interaction design deliverables. · Test ideas and rapidly incorporate user feedback. Create visually stunning interfaces that make emotional connections with users and communicate the brand. · Create specifications for implementation of the user interface throughout the development process. *Skills:* · Experience designing experiences for desktop, web, and mobile applications. · Experience gathering insights on user needs and goals and conducting usability testing. Experience with Agile methodologies. · Excellent visual design skills and sensibilities. Experience in prototyping and wireframing. · Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with teams. · Strong analytical skills. Self motivated and enthusiastic; rarely needs guidance but knows when it's necessary and seeks it out. *Education/Experience:* · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology; Human Computer Interaction; or equivalent training required. · 3-4 years experience required. Highly desire Certified Usability Analyst; Certified User Experience Designer. · Purchased web technology experience. *REQUIRED:* · Android Application Development. · Experienced Android Application developer (2 years minimum) who can demonstrate proficiency in Java, Android framework, eclipse, Multithreading, and back end data management. · Some experience with HTML5 highly desired. · Experience with Matlab/Simulink and Embedded Software development a plus. · Strong initiative and excellent communication skills required.
