*Role: SQL DBA* *Month: 3-6 MONT* *Location: Seattle, WA* *Need local to WA* *The SQL Database Administrator is responsible for the Implementation, Operation, Administration and Maintenance of company databases in the areas of performance, availability, reliability and data integrity. * *Responsibilities * *Implement and maintain company database systems.* *Monitor SQL Server databases to insure maximum uptime and performance.* *Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in a timely manner.* *Maintain database backup and recovery routines.* *Create new instances of databases and copying databases between environments.* *Set database access and security.* *Work with systems vendors to resolve database-related issues.* *Provide data-related application and network support.* *Provide 7X24 emergency support, as needed.* *Must understand database requirements as they relate to business requirements and ensure that they are adequately matched.
