*Project manager with Automotive experience* *Toronto, ON* *6-12 months* *Description*: Our client is looking for an experienced, professional individual that will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering IT projects for a wide variety of business units and programs. This position involves occasional travel between client facilities in QC and BC (once, twice a month), but the majority of work will be based out of the GTA. *Duties Include: * • Plans, organizes, leads, and delivers IT projects within defined constraints. o Coordinates project onboarding activities (e.g. kick off, sprint planning) o Serves as SCRUM master in all project scrum meetings o Communicates project status updates to business and IT management o Works with team members and management to resolve issues and mitigate project risks o Collaborates with the business on UAT activities to ensure adherence to established timeframes • Assists in the prioritization of projects and establishing timeframes by providing input and insight as to the scope of various work tasks as required for delivery. • Maintains effective communication and working relationships with the business and multiple teams within the IT department to ensure projects are on point and on task. • Creates and maintains virtual project test environments to facilitate QA & UAT testing; troubleshoots issues as needed *Required skills:* • 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management. • Previous Automotive industry experience – must have • Bilingual in French is a huge plus • Experience managing custom software development projects • Agile Scrum Master and/ or PMP Certification preferred. • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, & Project Mgmt. Software • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities. • Ability to lead a cross-functional team to successfully create, design, and implement a project. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *Note:* The client needs two professional references during submission from recent projects, without which submission is invalid.
