Position : QA Analyst Duration : 3-4 Months Location : Face to Face Required Philadelphia, PA Rate : $38/hrC2C
Responsibilities: -Design and implement testing processes and software quality assurance (SQA) methodologies necessary to deliver scalable, maintainable, and defect-free system(s) in an on-time and cost effective manner for the Data Solutions Group -Serve as QA interface with software developers and end-users -Identifies, creates and executes application functional and regression tests, and test scenarios for validating data driven applications and processes -Reports significant defects and tracks all defects and project issues -Analyzes test results from a technical standpoint and isolate defects prior to escalating to the engineering department for fixing -Track test coverage and other metrics -Work closely with the development team to develop automated and manual testing strategies -Quality advocate for all applications and data offered by Data Solutions -Additional responsibilities as assigned or requested. Required Experience & Skills: -Experience with Quick Test Professional (QTP) automated tool is a must -Strong programming skills in scripting languages such as TSL, VB Script -Experience with database schemas and querying tools (i.e. SQL) is a must -Experience with Automation Frameworks is desirable -Experience in SQA and software development methodologies and use of test tools -Understanding of software metrics is helpful -Have a proven track record of developing Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Data -Good Understanding of complete Software Development lifecycle and the value of designing and building for quality upfront 4 to 5+ years of experience in a team quality assurance environment -Bachelor's degree in a technology field or equivalent experience -Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills -Must be a responsive, flexible team player that is self-motivated, self-starting, and enthusiastic -Must possess a willingness and aptitude to embrace new ideas and master concepts rapidly .
