Job Description: Core Responsibilities: Data integration, database design and administration ETL using SSIS and Pentaho, handling large amounts of data Database backup/restore and data recovery validation and assurance of data accuracy through automated processes Develop and implement SQL store procedures, functions, and reports Work closely with Development and Engineering teams to provide reports and data to be presented to Stakeholders Prepare and present capacity analysis during meetings Experience with Unix environments and Hadoop Ability to use scripting languages to assist with ETL if necessary Specific Requirements: Effectively multitask while maintaining flexibility in fast-paced work environment. End-to-End network performance Experience with data mining, modeling, scripting, and SQL report development. Experience working with SevOne or a similar network monitoring platform. Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tool preferred. Excel in team environment where collaboration and knowledge sharing are critical to success. Excel in data gathering for problem structuring and analysis. Job Specification: Bachelor of Science/MS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Related Field (or equivalent expertise). Generally requires 4-6 years related experience. 2-3 years of work experience with SQL, running advanced ETL and queries Must be an expert level with Microsoft Excel Knowledge of network architecture/hardware is a plus. (routers, switches, CMTS). Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong oral and written communication skills; presentation skills. Experience with Planning and Analysis Participate in other projects or duties as assigned. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends when necessary.
