We have a direct Client requirement for you and the details are as follows *Job Title :* *Database Administrator* *Location* *: Pleasanton, CA* *Duration: 13+ Months* *Experience: 10+ Years* *Job Description**: * *Role Description : * • Develop *ETL Mapping* and/or Design Document based on Business requirements. • Coding and Unit Testing of *ETL Code* – mainly in Informatica. • Teaming up with QA Analyst team for identifying resolutions to defects encountered during QA Testing. • Develop knowledge base over time to understand how information and reports will be used in order to drive prioritization of development phase work • Work with Business Intelligence leadership team to understand and/or drive the needs of iterative development methodology. • Lead Coding efforts and facilitate relevant discussions with fellow teammates. • Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative environment. • Participate in design sessions with Report developers, Data modeler and Business Analysts. • Remain current on new Development methodologies and communicate trends and opportunities to management as appropriate. *Competencies :* Foundation - *Unix / Linux Basics and Commands, PL/SQL, Informatica, Healthcare Solutions - Support & Maintenance * *Essential Skills : * • 10+ years of experience in designing and development in a *Business Intelligence* environment – *Informatica*. • 10+ years of experience in development and support of *Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence and/or reporting solutions*. • 6+ years of experience *writing complex SQL queries*. • 6+ *Oracle SQL/PLSQL database* experience. • 4+ *Unix* Experience • Knowledge of data quality, data profiling and dimensional modeling concepts. *Desirable Skills : * • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
