*Please send resume to s...@cncconsulting.com <s...@cncconsulting.com> * Job Title: SAN Storage Specialist Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 4 months Direct Client Position In person interview The contractor should posses Enterprise Senior experience involving system/network SAN administration in large server farms, the knowledge of physical/virtual Red Hat Linux, VMware and Windows environments (minimum 3 years experience), having the ability to perform hardware/software upgrades, knowledge to implement and adhere to “best practices” security guidelines, and ability to provide performance tuning to storage systems. The person will work with the Build/Integration team and closely with the Build/Systems team to provide this functionality and SAN system support. IBM Storage: Working experience with IBM Storage systems and replication technologies. Required 5 Years IBM Storage: Installation, Configuration and Administration of IBM Storage arrays – DS8000, DS4800, DS3500 Required 5 Years IBM Storage: Experience using IBM storage technologies such as SVC, TPC, Flash Copy, Global & Metro Mirror Required 5 Years IBM Storage: Complete end-to-end Storage LUN provisioning Required 5 Years IBM Storage: Troubleshooting and resolution of storage issues Required 5 Years IBM Storage: Working knowledge of RAID Groups and LUN management. Required 5 Years IBM Storage: Setting up replication using IBM SAN Volume Controller(SVC) Required 5 Years IBM Storage: Preparing storage performance/capacity utilization reports for the management. Required 5 Years IBM Storage: Business continuity/DR planning and testing in the storage domain. Required 5 Years Hitachi Storage: Work experience with Hitachi storage and replication technologies Required 5 Years Familiarity with Hitachi storage tools such as Command Suite (HCS), Storage Navigator (HSNM2), Tuning Manager (HTnM), Replication Mgr (HRpM). Required 5 Years Hitachi Storage: Familiarity with Hitachi Unified Storage family (HUS 110, HUS 150) Required 5 Years Hitachi Storage: Knowledge of storage tiering and thin provisioning using Hitachi storage technologies. Required 5 Years Hitachi Storage: Ability to design and implement DR/Replication solutions using Hitachi replication tools and technologies. Required 5 Years IBM Tivoli Storage Mgr Backup & Recovery: Experience with TSM server v6.x/Backup client installation and configuration. Required 3 Years IBM Tivoli Storage Mgr Backup & Recovery: Configuring policy domain, mgmt classes, backup policies, storage pools, migration, reclamation Required 3 Years IBM Tivoli Storage Mgr Backup & Recovery: Configuring TSM scripting and scheduling etc. Required 3 Years IBM Tivoli Storage Mgr Backup & Recovery: Experience with IBM 3494/IBM 3584 Tape libraries and tape check in/checkout process. Required 3 Years IBM Tivoli Storage Mgr Backup & Recovery: Day to Day Management of TSM which includes performing backups and file level restores Required 3 Years IBM Tivoli Storage Mgr Backup & Recovery: Day to Day Management of TSM creating offsite tapes, troubleshooting backup issues. Required 3 Years IBM Tivoli Storage Mgr Backup & Recovery: Exp. with architecting enterprise business continuity plans and test disaster Recovery solutions for TSM Required 3 Years Brocade SAN switches: Experience in configuring and managing Brocade SAN environment. Required 3 Years Brocade SAN switches: Administer and Manage SAN switches such as Mcdata 6140, Mcdata 4700, Brocade 5300, and Brocade 7500. Required 3 Years Brocade SAN switches: Ability to create and manage zone configurations including LSANs within Brocade SAN Fabrics. Required 3 Years Brocade SAN switches: Familiarity with using Network Advisor to administer, monitor and troubleshoot SAN fabrics.
