TE Connectivity uses Business Objects with a Relational Database Backend (For Example : Oracle , Teradata , DB2 , SQL Server .....) , this is an important distinction because designing a universe with traditional databases is very different than using BW/BEx which uses Bex queries for pulling the dataset. Hence please make sure the candidates are strong in Business Objects Universe Design using databases like Oracle , SQL Server , DB2 , Teradata ..... along with Dashboard Experience. We would prefer to *stay away* from candidates with SAP BW /BEx experience. Description: REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS: · Minimum of 5 + years' Experience in the design and implementation with SAP Business Objects BI Product Suite ( Web Intelligence , Explorer , Xcelsius , Visual Intelligence and Mobile BI) · Minimum of 8 + years of experience with Business Intelligence/ Datawarehouse data store design ( Datawarehouse / Datamart / Operational Data Store) environment · Hands on Experience in Dashboard Design and Development using Xcelsius Designer/ Business Objects Dashboards Design · Experience with Business Objects Enterprise / SAP Business Intelligence Analytics Platform 4.0 · Hands on Experience in Universe Design using Universe Designer / Universe Design Tool · Hands on experience with Web Intelligence , QAAWS , Live Office , Launchpad · Hands on experience in the design of Business Objects Enterprise Server Platform Infrastructure · Knowledge of business intelligence best practice processes, tools, standards and practices · Strong analytical and conceptual design skills; strong problem-solving skills PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: · Experience in development of reporting and analytics business capabilities, strategy and roadmap · Experience using data visualization tools such as SAP Lumira, SAP Dashboard Builder would be a plus · Experience in definition of Business Intelligence technical architectures · Hands on experience with relational and star schema data modeling is a plus · Demonstrated competency in accurately identifying the scope of work and preparing thorough, accurate and detailed schedule estimates. · Experience with In-memory analytics tools EDUCATION: · BS / BA in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Engineering or Equivalent OTHER KEY QUALIFICATIONS: · Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms · Must have excellent client-facing skills; solid teamwork and interpersonal skills; strong ability to work independently when appropriate · Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects simultaneously with a track record of project completion Warm Regards, Alvin Paul alvin.p...@panzersolutions.com alvinpau...@gmail.com Panzer Solutions LLC 45 Stuart Ave, Unit K,Norwalk CT 06850.
