JOB TITLE: Testing Center of Excellence Lead

*GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES*: Testing Center of Excellence provides
leadership needed to support one or more projects during the Quality and
Test Solution phase of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). The
Lead is responsible
for reviewing requirements, creating and implementing the testing strategy,
managing resources, managing the client relationship, providing status
reports and defect management.

*SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*:
•Leads one or more projects through IT testing processes using requirements
or risked based testing.
•Creates key deliverables such as Estimates, High Level Test Strategy,
Detailed Test Plan, Test Status Reports, Traceability Matrix. test
scenarios, test cases and test scripts for projects
•Fully understands the requirements process and the role of a test lead in
the process.
•Demonstrated resource management skills including but not limited to
project sourcing, task assignment, task management
•Understands testing automation approaches and benefits and is able to
communicate to client
•Facilitates test data and test environment management
•Ability to contribute to innovation including but not limited to:
optimization, defect trend analysis, process improvement
•Mastery in Cardinal standard testing tools (Rational and HP Quality Center)

*2.Qualifications / Skills Requirements:*
*•*Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science, Business or related field
preferred or equivalent work experience
•Minimum 5 years of software testing experience required
•Minimum 2 years of software testing leadership required
•5+ years experience in SAP testing with sound understanding of major SAP
modules such as OTC, PTP, SCE, RTR.
•Exceptional oral and written communication skills
•Strong leadership, client relationship management, negotiation and
conflict management skills.
•Experience with Project ROM (rough order of magnitude) and detailed
estimates.
•Knowledge in testing tools like HP ALM.
•Knowledge in Test management and SOLMAN.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong knowledge on MS office tools & SharePoint.
•Proficient in Project Management (Work breakdown structure, scheduling, MS
Project, etc.)
•Ability to multi-task
•Proficient in industry standard testing metrics
•Experience in SDLC (i.e. Software Delivery Process (SDP), Sustain,
Maintain, Release to Production (SMRP), Accelerated SAP) is strongly
desired.
•Exceptional co-ordination and organization skills.
