These front-end assets will be delivered to the client development team to be used as the starting point for page development and will be integrated into the rest of the application as a whole. The candidate must be able to develop pages and page templates that accurately reflect the design comps generated by our creative team. Developer must have a creative eye and must also be able to review designs and identify issues with them which will impact development. Development must adhere to the stringent coding guidelines imposed by the client and WCAG accessibility standards. The candidate must also be client facing and be able to provide integration support after handing the code over to the client’s development team. The scope of development will include HTML and CSS development, rendering or cutting graphical assets from design comps, and the coding of client-side scripting to support stylistic functionality such as mouse-overs, modal pop-ups, fly out menus and expand/collapse functionality. Client-side functionality will be supported using the jQuery library and experience with jQuery is required. Developer must also conduct testing of developed assets across a number of browsers on Windows and Mac platforms.
