Senior Voice Engineer
*6+ months Contract to Hire -NO H1B or OPT*
Irvine, CA
*Candidates can now come from ANY where in the US.
They need to work onsite, but they do not need to be local.
- They must have Excellent communication skills 10/10
*- They must be very strong with UCCX Scripting*
- They need to be senior level candidates…no junior people

Job Responsibilities:
Support and maintain the Cisco Phone system Infrastructure at all 25
offices.
Expand the phone system to other remotely connected offices

Implement a new Cisco Video conferencing solution for few conference rooms
at HQ. Migrate the phone system to a SIP solution

Migrate the phone system from one Active Directory Domain to another.
Part of a team of 8 Engineers (Systems, Network)

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position?

Configures, tests, deploys, and maintains/upgrades unified
communications/telephony systems.
Performs adds/moves/changes and performs preventative maintenance on
telephony systems.
Proactively monitors and resolves potential service interruptions.
Create SOPs and Knowledge Base Articles for supported systems.
Create and maintain end-user training materials and documentation.
Design and implementation of telephony systems and changes throughout the
organization.
Project Manages and owns the success or failure of the implementation of
telephony systems.
Maintains telephone records and procedures and is the responsible owner for
such information/documentation.
Plans for and designs systems for future growth.
Perform software upgrades on existing Cisco voice deployments
Strong troubleshooting experience is a must
Conduct implementations, conversions, and upgrades in a manner consistent
with Standard Operating Procedures within company maintenance windows;
including change management procedures.
Performs after-hours Voice infrastructure installation, and maintenance as
required.
Regular and consistent onsite attendance

What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily
responsibilities?
1.     Call Manager
2.     UCCX/UCCX Scripting
3.     Unity
4.     Cisco Video Conferencing
5.     MUST have good verbal communication skills

What type of interview process is preferred?    Phone/Skype for 1st round,
Face to face for 2nd round (WebEx)
