Send me profiles : ar...@canopyone.com *Remote role (must be able to do a face to face) * * * *Position: Sr. Java Developer w/Serena Tools Location: NC * *Remote but must do a face to face interview** Contract Length: 8+Months * Travel (if applicable): Travel to Charlotte Office occasionally Expected Responsibilities: - 8-10 years of experience Programming, scripting, and markup languages such as *HTML, VB, C#, JavaScript or Java.** *- Dimensions/Vault Development Skills. o Experience in Systems Design, Development and implementation in enterprise computing environments. o General understanding if common development practices (*Agile Development, Source Control* *Release Management & DevOps*); A working knowledge of Operating Systems (*Windows,* *Linux);working knowledge of Database Platforms (MSSQL, Oracle*); Working knowledge of Server Applications (*Tomcat, IIS*) Tasks and Responsibilities: - Responsible for development projects to support Release Management and SDLC processes. - Deploy, Implement, customize and configure SBM products. - Integrate Serena products and third party applications. - Responsible for achieving specific outcomes as directed by the development manager or technical lead. - Improve and streamline application installation processes. Verify and document and resolve bugs. - Create technical documentation and participate in the collection of requirements. *Targeted Skills & Competencies:* *- Expert in workflow design and implementation using the Serena Business Manager (SBM) product - Should be familiar with orchestrations/TeamScript and Serena SBM - Minimum of 5 years of Client Server development. * *Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrated experience.* Suggested Experience & Qualifications: - Understands how to apply technology to improve the operational effectiveness or efficiency of specific functions or applications. - Experience implementing enterprise computing solutions; excellent written and verbal communication skills; development and application lifecycle management experience; ability to work independently or with a team; ability to solve problems and learn new technologies; Ability to take direction and work independently in achieving stated objectives. - Interact with internal customers to ensure customer implementations are successful.
