*Here is the Job Description*: *Senior User Experience Designer Fort Worth, TX 6+Months Contract* *Job Description*: We are looking for a top-notch Senior User Experience Designer to help us develop our next generation products. We will be creating web and mobile (tablet) versions of our desktop product line and we are looking to unify the experience of the web and mobile environments with a brand new, top-to-bottom design. Our clients are professionals from around the world working in sophisticated applications with rich interaction models. We are looking for someone to join our cross-functional and highly collaborative team and create delightful, easy to use experiences. Are you the person to help us realize our vision? *Responsibilities*: - Work closely with the product and UX teams to develop design strategies and communicate your design solutions - Design and specify user interfaces using iterative design techniques including design studios, customer interviews and usability testing - Produce design deliverables such as sketches, scenarios, wireframes, mental models and prototypes - Effectively communicate conceptual ideas and detailed design rationale both verbally and visually - Incorporate global design standards into solution. *Qualifications*: - Proven ability to work in a cross-discipline, open and creative team - Highly creative, detail-oriented, passionate about delivering the best user experience possible - Excellent communication and writing skills - Ability to work independently - Familiarity with technical architectures such as HTML5, Flash, and Silverlight - Bachelor's degree, preferably in a design-related discipline - A portfolio demonstrating relevant experience in user-centric design - Experience using Balsamiq and SketchFlow desired - Experience migrating a legacy desktop product to web/mobile environments - Experience ensuring product designs conform to accessibility and other standards such as section 508 - Background in visual design a plus - Experience in rapid prototyping for web-based products a plus - Experience working in an agile development environment a plus Best Regards, Sam Nelson - Staffing Manager Consulting Knights Inc.
