Position: Senior Data Warehouse Developer Location: Sterling, VA Duration: 6-12 Months Job Responsibilities · Ability to understand and analyze business data requirements in order to create an accurate, extensible, flexible logical data models using modeling tools, e.g. ER/Studio. · Support the implementation of CFC’s Enterprise Data Architectures and use proven methodologies for analyzing and presenting data details such as data definition, System of record for the data, usage, business and data access rules for the data defined. · Performs structured data requirements analysis and data modeling in support of application development for operational and reporting databases. · Able to facilitate discussions between small groups of IT and business people, recognize issues of conflict and inconsistency between data requirements and pursue a resolution of these issues. · Identify and analyze data discrepancies and data quality issues and work to ensure data consistency and integrity. · Take an organization-wide view of the business and its data, (e.g. maintain re-usable or enterprise data models) while providing detailed project-specific modeling and analysis support. · Implement CFC Operational Data Store (3NF ODS) and CFC Data Marts (Dimensional) within the Microsoft technology stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, etc). · Hands on with integration efforts between the Data Warehouse and Sales Force CRM, IBM Fusion, Legacy SAP/Sybase applications, Cassiopae (Oracle), and others as identified.
