*Position: SAS System Admin Location: Frazer PA Duration: 6+ months Contract* SAS System Administrator Responsibilities / Skill S:ets Implementation and ongoing support of the SAS analysis and reporting platforms. Resource monitoring; memory and process inspection, file system resource inspection Coordinate configuration, installation and general troubleshooting of updates, patches and upgrades of SAS software ( SAS hot-fixes). SAS performance tuning, impact analysis and capacity management. Installation and upgrades of statistical applications in GxP regulated environment. DR plan development, backup and recovery of SAS system, applications and data Ensure compliance with the SAS license agreements. Investigate and resolve technical infrastructure and server problems Liaison with technology groups, business partners & end-users to ensure availability of environment. Document and communicate with the SAS user community regarding system status, best practices & methodologies, and overall system infrastructure training Manage daily production SAS server problems, ensuring effective and timely resolution and communications to the customer Understand the security models (both for SAS and the organization) involved in administering the SAS installation SAS specific application support role, some programming experience helpful Windows 2003 and 2008 server administration experience. A working knowledge of GxP system development life cycle and general application support standards. Strong organizational and planning skills.
