Proactively raises issues if specification will lead to quality, system performance or architectural issues in the application. Provides demonstrated expertise in selected area of the technology and application. Participates in scrum planning, technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, and contributes to development project estimates, scheduling, coding, implementation, test plans, code reviews, documentations and UAT phases. Responsible for/Assists in the architectural planning and software design, ensuring standards and practices are met, as well as, providing insight and direction into testing and implementation. Collaborates with business analyst and business managers/users to ensure understanding of business requirements. Demonstrates self-directed and proactive approach to tackling problems and leveraging resources. Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with all stakeholders and internally within the team. Proactively mentors team members. Assist managers in drawing up development plans for developers and executing the same. Adopt and enforce all software development life cycle processes as well as internal quality processes. Immediately raise issues or risks to the successful and timely completion of deliverables to the Project Manager or immediate supervisor Skills Required The candidate should have 5+ years experience in working on OLAP Technologies - specifically Microsoft Analysis Services (MSAS), cube-technologies and database preparation Technical leadership in an OLAP development project for at least 3 years. Expertise in MS Excel advance features Should have been involved in data modeling for at least one large scale OLAP development project. The candidate should have strong understanding of data modeling and data lineage. Candidate should have experience with MSAS administration tasks Excellent communication skills Must demonstrate strong management of documentation process, quality control process, release management process and version control Experience with ETL-related processes with regards to the source/Client extractions and loading of the Analysis Services database.
