*Job Description:*



The HR Service Representative will be expected to professionally and
accurately respond to written and oral inquiries from employees, managers,
and former employees, regarding HR questions, issues, problems, and status
changes. The HR Service Representative will be responsible for gathering
background information on issue(s), providing the initial response
information, and tracking resolution progress to monitor overall service
response.



*Other duties and responsibilities will include the following:*
• Reviewing incoming e-mails, U.S. mail, faxes, etc.
o Referring employees, managers, retirees, and former employees to HR
self-service technology, outside vendors, or other resources as
appropriate.
o Performs related document management per department procedures.
o Interfacing with internal (HR, Payroll) and external resources (Aon
Hewitt, CIGNA, JP Morgan, etc.) to furnish needed information to close
cases as appropriate.
• Establish operational objectives and work plans.
• Identifying opportunities to improve knowledge base / Tier I processes.
• Handling purchasing and invoicing for HR.
More duties will be assigned as needed. The HR Service Representative will
work closely with Tier 1 Support Team across other Sony sister companies
and affiliates.

*This is a hands-on position, which includes other general
administrative/support responsibilities as assigned and special program
support activities.*
• High School diploma is required or equivalent.
• Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
• Minimum of
*5 to 7 years HR support experience. *• *Experience working in a Support
Center environment.*
• *Experience developing, modifying, and executing company policies.*
• Workday experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is critical.
• *Advanced PC skills to include: Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Excel,
Outlook and PowerPoint.*
• Familiarity with Adobe a plus.
• Must be able to interface with multiple levels of employees within the
company.
• The ideal candidate will be results driven, be a team player with a
positive attitude who is an excellent communicator, with the motivation
necessary to meet customer needs.
• Excellent written and organizational agility, action oriented, practice
active listening and be comfortable in a global work environment.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal direction.
