Technology Skills

a.         In-depth understanding of Cisco Unified Communications and
Collaboration

b.         In-depth understanding of Microsoft Lync Unified Communications

c.         Data Center infrastructure, Private, Public, Hybrid Cloud

d.         LAN, WLAN, WAN technologies

General Skills

a.         Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

b.         Able to work all hours to support AT&T customers and projects
world-wide

c.         Strong preference for college degree in related field of
technology or business

d.         Minimum Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification,
strong preference for advanced certifications (CCDP, CCIE)

e.         Extensive knowledge and practical experience in designing and
supporting global complex voice & data network

f.          A minimum of 5 years of direct customer facing and customer
support experience

g.         Must be a fast learner of AT&T Process, Systems, and most
importantly, AT&T-Managed Offer related to the above technologies and how
it is supported in conjunction with other AT&T and/or non-AT&T Services

Job Functions

1. Pre-Sales Design

a.         Attend and support requirement gathering, validation, and design
sessions with customers and/or Account Teams

b.         Integrate design to fit with existing AT&T Managed Unified
Communication (UC) Offer

c.         Develop the overall technical and network voice design

d.         Provide global technical guidance and consultancy in the above
technical areas, must work well with AT&T customers and team members.

2. Pricing and Contracting

a.         Use standard pricing tools or work with partner organizations
(Custom Pricing group, Solutions Center of Excellence - SCOE) to develop
the final solution pricing for the proposed design

b.         Produce, update and verify necessary documentation

c.         Work with contract specialist to develop the final
customer-facing contract and related documentation

d.         Review completeness of other relevant project documentation

3. Project management and documentation

a.         Complete necessary configuration spreadsheets and generate
outputs for each site

b.         Update Project Managers with necessary outputs

c.         Work with AT&T field services if necessary during test & turn up

d.         Take the lead and respond to customer design or offer-related
questions during pre-sales phase

e.         Provide pre-sales to post-sales hand-off to Service Delivery
organization during post-contract signature phase

4. Offer Development and Support

a.         From time to time, participate in offer development phase for
various testing (product planning, testing/validation, End-user Acceptance
Test, Operational Readiness Test, etc.) when new products/features are
being rolled out

b.         Provide feedbacks to Product team of key findings for approval
and/or resolutions

c.         Update design documentation & template as necessary.

5. Implementation

a.         Work with implementation team to provide sufficient design data
as hand-off

b.         Stay engaged in a supported role throughout the process to
address any issues related to pre-sales designs

Deliverables

a.         Gathering technical data directly from clients and AT&T sales
associates necessary for designing asolution for the client

b.         Designing a technically sound and cost effective solution

c.         Preparing all Bills of Materials  (BOM) required for the
designed solution

d.         Preparing a network drawing of the proposed solution for the
client and the AT&T sales team

e.         Preparing, when requested, a complete Scope of Work document
that describes work to beperformed or quoted by AT&T

f.          Utilizing AT&T's costing and pricing tool to calculate service
costs for the proposed project

g.         Engaging other AT&T Review Boards and organizations for custom
design, solution, and pricing support when standard pricing tools cannot be
used

h.         Maintaining and updating all project work in company's CRM
systems, project shared drive, and moving the project to the correctstate
as it's proposed and modified

Overall Skill Qualifications



Technology Skills

3-8 years of technical design experience in unified communications
technologies

Experience designing and/or implementing unified communication with Lync
and OCS

Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory design, implementation and
administration required

Strong background in networking(Cisco routers/switches, network protocols,
Session Initiated protocols(SIP), VPN, etc) is a plus

Network storage(SAN, NAS, backup) experience a plus

VMWare Server Virtualization experience a plus

Data Center infrastructure experience, Private, Public, Hybrid Cloud a plus

LAN, WLAN, WAN technologies

General Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited
University

Following Certifications are a plus :CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, MSCE, MCTIP

Experience working in a consulting environment a plus

Must have excellent organizational and project management skills

Must have strong written and verbal communications skills

Must be open to working all hours to meet customer deadlines

Must be committed to providing above and beyond customer service.

Must be able to work as part of a  team and work as be able disciplined to
work as an individual self starter.

A successful candidate for this position will be able to demonstrate
excellent networking and technical skills, proficiency with the design of
Microsoft Solutions(including MS Lync, Windows 2003/2008 Active Directory,
Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007.2010 and server/storage virtualization
designs), and exhibit strong project management and communication skills.
