Title: Help Desk Support Analyst
Location:St.Louis, MO
Duration:6+ months

Analyzes and develops short- and long-term solutions to information
technology (IT) needs through developing new and modifying or adapting
existing

applications. Coordinates with users to determine IT requirements. Reviews
system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and

implements software applications. Provides information technology advice
and services to internal clients. Takes responsibility for more than one of
the

disciplines below. Usually requires 3 to 5 years of previous experience.

We have an opening on the US IT Business Intelligence team for a BI Support
Analyst role supporting a broad range of US Commercial areas. These areas

include Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain and Technology Development. This
individual will contribute to the execution of the US IT Business

Intelligence team roadmap by supporting Business Objects users, universes,
dashboards and reports. Business Objects is an integral part of Monsanto’s

US Commercial reporting and analytics strategy to facilitate improved
decision making.

Responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with US Business customers and the US IT Data Management team
to enhance reporting and data access in support of the growing

business strategy.
• Manage access to existing BusinessObjects universes, reports and
dashboards.
• Utilize Remedy and Teamtrack to submit and process access requests.
• Assist users with the usage of Web Intelligence including viewing,
editing and creating new reports.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to the use of Business Objects and
resolve or escalate as appropriate.
• Author and execute Oracle SQL statements in order to satisfy “ad hoc”
data requests.
• Collaborate with the US IT Data Management team to identify data
discrepancies, issues, integration gaps and opportunities in order to
expand the

capabilities of US IT data warehousing.

Required skills/experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or
equivalent work experience.
• Strong customer service focus with the ability to professionally manage
communications with a wide range of end users.
• 5+ years of IT experience
• 1+ years experience in Business Objects Web Intelligence use and/or
development
• 5+ years experience in Oracle SQL development
• 3+ years experience in MS Access, Word, Excel
• Superior analytical skills, be able to think through and research complex
problems
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently in a changing business environment
• Results oriented and able to drive issue resolution

• Remedy end user experience
• Teamtrack end user experience
