*Responsibilities:* Guide corporate customers in the architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft technical solutions, highlighting risks, and driving cloud adoption through sound technical leadership. Lead in ambiguous situations and resolve problems with customer designs and architecture. Drive solution health through proactive engagement; risk assessments, health checks, architecture reviews, and in person training. Professionally represent Stanford Healthcare in challenging corporate customer environments, leverage strong technical writing skills to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, customer managers and executives. Lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of Microsoft Platforms/Azure solutions and advising customers on the integration of complex Active Directory infrastructures in a highly distributed environment. Work with customers to determine viable migration approaches to move workloads to Azure, in addition to architecting new environments. Develop working relationships within the services organization that result in increased cooperation and mutual support in fulfilling our customer's missions. *Requirements:* Intermediate/Advanced skills with Microsoft Active Directory including configuration, Forest and Domain designs Intermediate to Advanced skill in regards to Core Microsoft Windows Services (I.e. Active Directory, Network Services, Windows Operating System, etc.) Intermediate/Advanced skill in respect to key concepts for Advanced Networking Technologies and Methodologies (I.e. Firewalls, Load Balancers, Split-brain DNS, Global DNS, etc.) Intermediate/Advanced skill in respect to core Azure Services (I.e. Storage, Cloud Services, Networking, Availability Sets, Azure Load Balancers, Virtual Machines and Azure Active Directory) Ability to deploy and integrate Core Microsoft Windows Server Services On-Premises, Azure and Hybrid Solution Solid understanding of Server Virtualization core concepts Solid understanding of Windows OS/Azure Automation and Scripting via PowerShell (E.g. Native OS and Azure-specific) Intermediate/Advanced skill with Microsoft-based Identity Solutions (E.g. Azure AD, ADFS, Azure ADSync, Azure ADConnect) and Authentication methods and protocols Intermediate to Advanced skill in regard to configuring and publishing Windows Server Web Services securely (I.e. SSL Certificates, SAN Certificates, etc.) Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure Deep technical knowledge of Windows Azure Pack and Microsoft System Center components (including Virtual Machine Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager, Orchestrator, App Controller, Service Provider Foundation, Service Management Automation and Service Reporting) Knowledge of the Private Cloud and Hybrid cloud configurations, patterns, and practices. Experience leading enterprise deployments Working knowledge of scripting and automation technologies, PowerShell and Orchestrator runbook development Demonstrated ability to transition customer projects to reusable IP Understanding of the ITIL and MOF operational processes Experience giving presentations to executive audiences and explaining the benefits of the platform over competitors Knowledge of competitive cloud technologies *Education:* College degree, preferably in Computer Science, is required. MCSE or other applicable advanced certification is strongly preferred, but not required at hire; however, must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
