*Job Description:* *Job Title*: QA Tester *Location: *Northern NJ(Parsippany, NJ) *Job Type*: Contract *Duration*: 6-12 months+ *interview Mode*: F2F (No EAD OPT please) *Experience:* · At least 3 to 5 Years of experience in IT-QA and testing · A big PLUS for the position: · PeopleSoft testing experience · A super PLUS for the position: · Some experience on automation in QTP or Selenium or Similar, test execution with automation *SUMMARY* · The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for planning and executing the quality effort for IT implementations to ensure solutions meet the appropriate quality standard prior to production launch. Responsible for completing assigned testing duties with the ability to work on 2-3 projects simultaneously of varying size and complexity (small, medium or large). Execution of current testing processes and procedures, including defined deliverables, following IT department standards to ensure application is functioning as designed. Key duties and responsibilities include: · Creating Test Plans, Test Scenarios and Test Cases · Analyzing, documenting, and reporting errors and providing supporting evidence · Responsible for gaining thorough understanding of business processes from a user's perspective and using that knowledge to create thorough test cases · Complying with client's IT standards, practices and methodologies etc... · Creating and execution of positive and negative test cases that can be traced directly back to functional requirements · Responsible for regression testing and building a regression test suite · Creating test data as needed · Responsible for facilitating regular review sessions to ensure quality standards are applied in document creation and test execution · Understanding the release process and QAs role in ensuring consistency through development of required testing documentation · Providing accurate testing estimates · Working closely with the project team and IT team members to prioritize levels of effort · Working with User Groups as directed, supporting User Acceptance Testing as needed · Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers as needed to ensure successful deployments · Responsible for attaining full knowledge of functional area, actively contributing to the overall success of the IT department, active participation in meetings, and regular status updates to management. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES* · 65% Creates and execute QA test plans, test scenarios and test cases for change requests and projects.
