Alternative... At least 10 years of software development in any or all of the following scripting languages: Perl, Python, Ruby. Any web service development experience and LDAP. At least 5 years of software requirements writing. This may be called System Engineering in some industries. A working ability to make mockups using whatever design tool they wish. The goal would be to be able to present a image of what the outcome would look like and be able to communicate the end result to the requesting party. Alternative.... At least 5 years of project management experience involving software development projects. A working knowledge of Linux or other Unix style OS. A working understand of metric collection of computer systems in a networked environment. This could include Nagios, Ganglia or a understanding of WMI, etc. Desired: The software development experience should be as diverse as possible. Data transformation experience would be a plus.
