*Job Description:*
The Web Developer develops, maintains, and supports applications for the
organization's Internet/Intranet sites. Primarily responsible for
front-end user interface (UI) and client-side programming using the latest
web technologies and frameworks like jQuery.
• Collect client requirements, performs analysis, writes program
specifications and develops designs for projects.
• Translate detailed design into working code for web application.
• Program all or selected components of Web sites and applications
based on given requirements.
• Code, test, debug, maintain and refine the web software to
produce the required product.
• Analyze existing code base and convert to new coding standard as
necessary.
• Work with development team and provide support for user
interface (UI) development.
• Document components and applications.
*Qualifications:*
• 3 - 5 years of IT work experience in software development,
installation and modification in an online environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
other related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong background in Web Development using the following
technologies:
o JavaScript, JQuery, Single Page Apps, JSON, AJAX
o JS libraries jQuery-UI, and jQuery-Mobile, fancyBox a plus
o HTML, HTML 5, CSS 3, Adaptive design, Responsive design
o SQL (MS SQL Server, UDB environment)
o XML, XSLT
• Experience developing modular JavaScript object oriented
components a plus
• Experience with Frameworks; Bootstrap, or Foundations a plus.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
