We have a Direct Client Requirement for you and the details are as follows Job Title: Senior Level Oracle DBA Location: Des Moines IA Duration: 18+ months *Job Description:* *MUST HAVE 10+ years experience* Database Administrator that can be on-call to cover first response problem tickets for DBMS from Oracle. Their primary support role will be helping to support Wells Fargo Oracle database applications therefore they must have strong hands on working knowledge of: 11g •Oracle Dataguard, Oracle OEM, Oracle CRS •Replication tools such as Oracle Streams, Quest Shareplex, and Oracle Golden Gate • Ability to problem solve database issues while on-call 24x7 • outstanding knowledge of performance data collection, performance monitoring and performance improvement. • Advanced knowledge of backups and recovery, Security Administration • Effective and clear communication, independent worker, and leadership skills are key. Minimum Qualifications: 10+ years database design and administration experience with Oracle ( 11g, 12c) on Linux or AIX and at least 7 years experience with Oracle RAC. This individual will provide the highest technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's server-class databases. Handles and leads the most complex or critical data/ database management initiatives that typically involve multiple disciplines and multiple business groups, including responsibility for database architecture, design, integration, and/or data modeling. As the recognized technical expert, consults extensively with multiple client groups to provide strategic solutions, influencing long-range internal and enterprise level data/ database architecture and management strategies. Serves as a consultant on technological advancements. Provides oversight, mentoring and leadership to less experienced staff. May represent the organization as an external spokesperson.
