*Roseville, CA* *1 Year* US Citizens or Green Card holders required *MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * ** Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field. * * * Experience working in large scale Cloud Computing or Data Center deployments highly desirable – OpenStack experience with IaaS and SaaS preferred * Strong background in leading multi-disciplinary IT programs/projects * Basic understanding of server infrastructure, networking, and / or data center operations required * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships and drive the team to completion * Knowledge of project management techniques and tools * Proven experience in people management * Proven experience in risk management * Proficient in project management software * Experience with Product Definition / Management a plus * KEY RESPONSIBILITIES This is a highly visible position that will interact at every level internally to advocate HP technology and influence change. In this role, you will be responsible to: Lead the planning and implementation of projects Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables Define project tasks and resource requirements Develop full scale project plans Assemble and coordinate project staff Manage project resource allocation Plan and schedule project timelines Track project deliverables using appropriate tools Provide direction and support to project team Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs Project evaluations and assessment of results Find contingencies and create course corrections when projects meet reality THE ROLE: As large enterprises shift their critical systems to the cloud, we are in the need of high powered technical talent focused on results and satisfaction. This individual will be expected to drive the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. They will be expected to fill the gap between engineering and management by providing detailed reports to management along with working to maintain the deployment schedules.
