*Position: Business Analyst* *Location: Princeton, NJ(Locals only)* *Duration: 6-month* *I have a 6-month + Business Analyst (Transportation/Supply Chain/Logistics) position in Princeton, NJ.* *Must be a local candidate to interview on-site and start with short notice.* *Must have recent experience with Transportation/Supply Chain/Logistics environments.* *Business Analyst (Transportation/Supply Chain/Logistics)* The candidate works in a dynamic, rapid application development environment. The business domain is asset management in the transportation industry. Relevant business knowledge is strongly desired. The candidate will be involved in various aspects of requirements gathering, business analysis, and project coordination. This will involve interactions with both internal business users and external customers/partners. Candidate must be focused, hard-working and self-motivated. *Responsibilities:* - Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis - Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs - Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements - Document requirements according to established department standards using the following artifacts: (Functional Requirements Document, Business Requirements Document, Use Cases, Screen Mock-Ups/Prototypes, and Interface designs) - Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs - Coordinate interactions between IT, the business users, and customers - Champion IT standards *Requirements:* - 5+ years of IT experience as a Business Analyst - Must have recent experience with Transportation/Supply Chain/Logistics environments - SQL Server skills preferred - Knowledge of software development and SDLC - EDI skills a plus - Detail-oriented individual - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts - Strong research skills with an attention to detail - Team-oriented - Solid work ethic - Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously - Strong Microsoft Office skills Excel, Word and Power Point Demonstrated success in a project team setting Regards *Mayank* 978-558-4666 x 103 *may...@teknavigators.com* <may...@teknavigators.com> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
