Clinical Research Specialist Candidates are preferred to be located in Memphis although this is not a requirement. Also, the HM is looking for strong candidates with skill sets in protocol development and clinical operations including monitoring functions (but more so in protocol development). Responsible for all aspects of clinical study operations for assigned clinical projects according to the strategy defined by leadership of Clinical Research team. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Coordinates clinical operations including: design, initiation, coordination of clinical trials to support regulatory submissions, as well as post-market clinical trials. · Identify and qualify study centers · Manage day to day activities of all aspects for assigned projects including study plans, timelines, resources, problem identification and resolution, status reports and budget · Manage independent consultants including CROs when required by the project Coordinates the preparation of study documentation, including: protocol, statistical data analysis plan, monitoring plan, informed consent form, case report form, investigator agreement and financial agreement, as required. · Plans and manages study site activities and provides ongoing updates of site status to management. · Supports data collection, assessment and reporting activities. · Anticipates/identifies potential problems and implements corrective actions. · Interfaces with cross functional stakeholders to ensure that clinical activities are in line with overall strategic goals.
