Please send the resumes at su...@cncconsulting.com Job Title: Unix/Linux Administrator Location: Hershey, PA Duration: 3-6 Months MUST HAVE: 7+ years experience as a UNIX/Linux Admin including administrating at least 2 of the following types of environments: Solaris (versions 8, 9, 10 preferred) Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) (versions 5, 6, 7 preferred) Suse Linux (versions 10, 11 preferred Extensive experience writing scripts to automate day to day tasks Strong network knowledge and experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS Experience providing resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems involving multiple teams and systems across multiple data centers Comfortable working under limited direction independently Experience performing regular day-to-day Systems Administration activities related to: User administration (including LDAP) Volume management Package management Patch management Backup and recovery/disaster recovery/fail-over exercises Experience installing and configuring enterprise wide infrastructure tools supporting configuration management, server and application monitoring, patch management, high availability Writing technical documentation, operational procedures, systems documentation and Incident and problem communications and reporting.
