*Data Analyst* to turn data into information, information into insight and
insight into business direction(Must have good experience in
SSIS(2012)/SSRS data analyst)



Conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and
design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously
monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.



Responsibilities:

•Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide
ongoing reports

•Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that
optimize statistical efficiency and data quality

•Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain
databases/data systems

• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets

• Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and
performance indicators to locate and correct code problems

• Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs

• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities



Requirements:

•Proven working experience as a data analyst

• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development,
data mining and segmentation techniques

•Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business
Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL
frameworks)

•Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for
analysing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse,
and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail
and accuracy

This role is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining Business
Intelligence (BI) reporting and analytical solutions using Jaspersoft
(iReport Designer, JasperReports Server and Studio) product. This includes
creation of dashboards, standard reports, custom reports, and
trouble-shooting reporting problems. The analyst is responsible for design,
development, testing, maintenance, and support of enterprise-wide data
analytics and reporting solutions. The secondary responsibility is to
provide technical leadership in database design, data querying and data
transformation.  Successful candidates must demonstrate a clear
understanding of BI, relational databases, SQL, and related technologies.



*Job Functions and Responsibilities*



Ø  Perform detailed data analysis, validation, and identify data quality
issues. Pro-actively recommend solutions that could prevent non-scalable
reports. Participate in testing for development activities.  Identify
automation and process improvement ideas and implement

Ø  Design reports for performance, data quality, and
simplicity/maintainability, and articulate trade-offs as appropriate. Tune
Jaspersoft queries to run efficiently in a large data volume environment.
Support and manage special projects, ad-hoc management reporting requests,
testing, and issue resolution.

Ø  Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of
existing report procedures and systems and develop strategies for enhancing
or leveraging these processes and systems.   Develop a strong understanding
of the source systems that pass data to the reporting systems, and the
relationships within the data.

Ø  Work directly with decision makers and end users to understand, define,
and document current and possible future reporting goals, needs, and
requirements. Research and recommend key performance indicators in order to
provide better intelligence in reporting.  Maintain documentation and
tracking for reporting requests. Write and maintain processes related to
all standard reporting

Ø  Responsible for mock up, development, implementation, and training of
internal customer requested reporting needs

Ø  Develop, coordinate distribution, and maintain reporting templates for
reporting teams and user community

Ø  Retrieve and utilize information from multiple RDBMS systems and other
data sources and, when necessary, recommend and manage the development and
implementation of ETL processes required to create appropriate reporting
solution.

Ø  Use Jaspersoft to develop dynamic dashboards, grids, graphs, scorecards,
reports and domains.  Design, develop, publish, and maintain management
dashboards

Ø  Convert existing reports form Business Objects 14+ to Jaspersoft 6+

Ø  Communicate clearly and effectively with business users and technical
teams through all phases of the development lifecycle

Ø  Strong interpersonal/customer service skills. Ability to communicate
effectively with others; demonstrated collaborative skills

Ø  Able to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast paced setting, willing
to take on new projects and be flexible





*Qualifications:*

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information
Systems, or similar field preferred.

· Understanding of relational databases, strong SQL skills, and
experience with data modeling and architecture.

· Experience in leading a technical team and Interacting with
stakeholders for requirement gathering and Analysis

o   Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to express complex ideas in simple terms.

o   Ability to assume ownership of specific functions and products while
leading and managing multiple tasks.

o   Demonstrated ability to work well independently, as well as partner
with others as a team,

o   Willingness to take initiative to improve processes and resolve
problems.

o   Proven ability to rapidly assimilate knowledge of processes and systems.

· 5+ years of report creation experience with large enterprise
Business Intelligence tools, including recent versions of Jaspersoft and
Business Object.

o   3-5 years experience on Jaspersoft reporting Tools

o   Experience with Jaspersoft Studio and Visualize.js.

o   Knowledge of Jaspersoft report server administration, installation and
configuration.

o   Knowledge of report deployment and configuration.

o   Knowledge of Jaspersoft Architecture and Deployment.

o   Knowledge of User Management in Jaspersoft Server.

o   Experience in developing Complex Reports using Jaspersoft Server and
Jaspersoft Studio.

o   Understand the Overall architecture of Jaspersoft BI.

o   Experience in creating Ad Hoc Reports, OLAP, Views, Domains

o   Experience in creating dashboards with visualizations.

o   Experience in security and auditing, metadata layer
