Let me know availability & interest, and help me with Updated Resume, along with Best Hourly Rate Expectations, at your earliest convenience. *Role : DevOps Sr. Developer* *Location: Seattle, WA* *Job Responsibilities* Core responsibilities include 1) Spin up Staging and Production environments on cloud-based environments AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Compute Platform. 2) Automate website deployment and configuration management 3) Automate monitoring and test disaster recovery and backup functions 4) Automate network and security management 5) Security scanning and vulnerability detection 6) Ability to work independently 7) Leads the technical evaluation and selection process for improving performance by overseeing gap analysis studies, feasible alternative solutions, and recommending the best approached. 8) Leads in project planning processes with engineering and architect as and when needed. 9) Collaborates with project managers to prioritize development of capabilities. 10) Contributes to strategic planning meetings and provides guidance and expertise on system options, risk, and impacts on processes and goals. 11) Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes). 12) Writes and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of client solutions. 13) Creates technical design specifications and assists in sizing technical requirements. 14) Reviews and advises on technical design specifications developed by architects. 15) Supports and Works on complex, major or highly visible broad range of applications 16) Provides subject matter expertise and technical direction. 17) Plans and performs ongoing routine application maintenance tasks. 18) Assists in establishing requirements, methods and procedures for routine maintenance. 19) Leads complex escalations/incidents/problems that require multiple areas of expertise. 20) Creates and shares operational requirements to enable accurate planning with realistic timelines. 21) Works closely with architects to ensure the KPI's related to optimization, performance and monitoring are in consideration with future projects. 22) Analyzes client operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to uncover opportunities for improvements. 23) Partner with CICD teams in developing/building IT solutions to meet business requirements. 24) Assists in the development of user guides and training documentation for systems. 25) Provides performance feedback to CICD, Monitoring, Leadership and engineering teams. 26) Expertise in multiple technical environments and possesses business knowledge that spans multiple business areas. 27) Serves as a liaison between Tier 2 and SME, AWS in coordination to provide technical solutions that address user needs. 28) Coordinates communication and activities between technical teams. 29) Leads the development of contingency plans including reliable backup and restore procedures. 30) Identifies continuity/disaster recovery risks and mitigation plans. 31) Assists in the development of disaster recovery plans with service providers.
