This person may be tasked to act as SCRUM master, while actively involved with the development effort.
Candidate shall have the following requirements The candidate should have all of the following requirements: Experience / Skills • 6+ years leading development teams • 6+ years of software development experience • 6+ years of object oriented programming experience (Visual Basic, Java, C#, VB.NET) • 6+ years using Microsoft SQL Server • Ability to read, understand, maintain legacy code (VB6, C#, VB.Net, classic ASP, ASP.NET) • Ability to follow a SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) to implement new functionality or entire systems • Ability to produce technical and non-technical documentation based off of legacy code • Must be a self-starter • Must be able to work independently • Experience leading/mentoring development teams and overseeing their work • Experience working with multiple team members (BA, Developer, DBA, System Architect, PM) • Well organized with great attention to detail • Great communication Skills • Speaks clearly and is easy to understand • Can communicate effectively with multiple team members at a given time • Email communications are clear and to the point • Not afraid to ask questions or ask for help • Will ask for additional work once assigned work is completed • Can adhere to tight deadlines and due dates • Prepared and prompt to any and all meetings • Data Migration experience a plus • SCRUM / AGILE experience a plus In order to analyze the application usage of the server queues/triggers, message processing, error handling, etc., the candidate must also possess ASP.NET, VB.NET, VB6, Classic ASP, and SQL Server knowledge.
