*Must Haves:*

-5+ years of enterprise experience with operating, maintaining and
configuring HP SiteScope

-Experience with support of Windows and Unix servers

-Experience with configuring/testing/release monitoring tools utilizing:

o HP Business Service Management (BSM)

o Business Process Monitor (BPM)

o Universal Configuration Management Database (uCMDB)

o SiteScope, Operations Manager for Windows (OMW)

o Performance Manager (OVPM)

o Operations Manager (OMi)

o Network Node Manager (NNMi).

               *Understanding of agent-based and agent-less monitoring best
practices

-Programming/scripting: UNIX/BOURNE/KORN shell scripting, PowerShell, SNMP;
SQL query

-Experience with TCP/IP and SNMP Management Protocols, SSH, WINS, NetBIOS,
DNS

-Experience working with and monitoring web applications, load balancers,
MSSQL, Oracle databases, Java, .NET, Apache, REST and SOAP/XML web services

-Experience documenting processes and procedures



This position is for an Enterprise Monitoring Engineer who will
be responsible for providing operational support for enterprise monitoring
services. This role oversees the daily requirements for support of the
monitoring tools leveraged by the client to provide monitoring for critical
production applications and interfaces with development and operations
teams to identify and fulfill monitoring requirements.

Primary job responsibilities will be to troubleshoot monitor issues, build
new monitors, attain requirements, provide instruction to users of the
monitoring tools, adjust thresholds as needed and occasionally build custom
URL, web service, SQL or script monitors.  This Engineer will be designing
and building monitors using HP SiteScope, BPM for UNIX, Windows, .NET,
Java, REST and SOAP/XML Web services. The Engineer will work with
development and application support to identify and close gaps in monitoring
