*Required Skills:*

· Must have relevant experience working in a production support
environment & related processes.
· Must be technically expert on UNIX, vi, Korn Shell Programming (on
scale of 1-5 must be minimum 4).
· Must be technically skilled on C (on scale of 1-5 must be minimum
4) .
· Must have experience with Oracle or Sybase Database (on scale of
1-5 must be minimum 4).
· Must have hands-on experience with job scheduling, monitoring etc
(on scale of 1-5; at least 3).
· Must be well conversant with the Change management process; hands
on experience with any code configuration tool like ClearCase.
· Must have good experience on environment management; capacity
planning.
· Must have excellent debugging/problem solving skills.
· Must be well versant with testing processes.
· Must be willing to work in a 24x7 support mode; on-call basis as
well. All calls are expected to be during the work hours however flexibility
is required.
· Provide timely status report to management team.
· Good written and verbal communication skills.
· Must be a self starter and able to work on a list of objectives
without supervision.
