*Position: * *Network Engineer * *Location : **Minneapolis, MN * *Duration: 6+ Months * *Interview Mode: Phone then Face to Face * * GC , USC Only* *Job Description* · The *Network Engineer* will wear multiple hats. Involved with level 3/4 escalation issues. · The network engineer will work with both core network infrastructure operation as well as telephony systems. · Most of the field sales uses IPad tablets. Most candidates they have seen so far were just too light on skills, many were Desk Top folks looking to move into a dedicated Network role. · We are looking for a Senior Network Administrator who will work in a team responsible for designing and administering local, wide-area & wireless networks, DNS, Firewalls, Cisco routers and switches. · Must also have experience with MPLS, Radius, VPN, QoS, IP Telephony, SolarWinds and Barracuda load balancers. *Job Responsibilities* - Responsible for design, configuration and deployment of company voice and data networks. Collaborate with management and department leaders to assess near and long term network capacity needs and direction. - Provide 3rd level support for computer networking problems and trouble tickets. Provide troubleshooting of complex computer networking problems and issues. This position is in a rotation of being on call for afterhours support. - Perform daily monitoring and management of the network infrastructure. Monitor and test the network performance and provide performance statistics and reports. - Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, network mapping, processes and service records.
