*Position : QA Engineer (Cloud Computing testing)* *Location : Austin , TX * *Duration : 9+ Months * *Interview: Phone / Skype * *Experience in Cloud Computing/Testing will be REQUIRED* *Experience with AWS, Google, Azure or other competing technologies is Desired.* *Job Position* · This person will responsible for understanding enterprise class software – scalability, upgrade system services, failure analysis, troubleshooting, and performance characteristics. · This individual also designs and implements tooling to comprehensively exercise the Cloud under test and/or related system resources. · This individual will also be responsible for analysis of various quality metrics and making recommendations for corrective actions. Will be building, maintaining and managing test infrastructure as well as test cases for a public-cloud platform. · Tasks include executing, establishing and maintaining and expanding test cases and working directly with engineering teams as the product evolves in an agile development environment. · Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs, and creates solutions for issues with code and integration. · Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution · Represents the software quality assurance team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects. *Education and Experience:* · Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent · 3 to 4 years of cloud based, experience in QA / Test engineering *Knowledge and Skills:* · Familiarity with OpenStack architecture · Excellent knowledge in one of the following languages: Perl, Python, PHP · Experience developing test harnesses against web services and command line interfaces · Experience with KVM virtualization is required · Must be experienced in designing and developing test suites, automated or otherwise · Must be experienced in developing automation with Tempest and/or REST API · Good communication and problem-solving skills · Good process and documentation skills · Experience in Agile environments and short development cycles is a plus · Experience in Linux environments is required · Experience in testing distributed systems or end-to-end testing of integrated systems · Experience with hypervisors, VMWare, Hyper-V, a plus Regards , Kailash Negi VSG Business Solutions Phone: 302-261-3207 x 102 Email: kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
