Contract to hire so GC/Citizens only JD: · We are looking for someone who has a wide breadth of experience in performance tools (not just LoadRunner) and understands concepts that help him/her to quickly move from one problem to another. · They will have involvement in working with the architecture team, and must understand how to performance tune on each architecture tier- so multitier bottle necking experience is required. Front end, middle tier, and database layers. · Lead is referring more to the seniority perspective rather than actually leading/mentoring others. They will work on a team of 3 subject matter experts and will not be managing anyone. · We don’t simply want testers we want someone that can understand architecture and recognize where potential hot spots would be, and have the ability to offer possible solutions / recommendations to the project · Responsibilities are centered around performance tuning application components using MVC Architecture. This team is Portal As a Service and they are very component based. · Mobile project work is required, but the test tools are open. Perfecto is not mandatory. · Someone that is focused on performance testing specifically and is an expert, not a mix of QA and performance testing. · Excellent communicator Responsibilities: Design detailed performance test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures of software and production data in a secure environment. Collaborate with Developers / Architects on Application and / or system impacts. Design and run extensive overhead, scalability, stability, and stress tests using industry standard tools and custom develop software where ever necessary Develop robust benchmark workloads based on production traffic patterns and anticipated feature usage with varying load levels and working sets Analyze and summarize test results in reports, capacity planning / best practice guides Develop and review test plans, results analysis, capacity planning guides Reproduce critical situations requiring special performance tests or simulations Engages effectively with software developers to understand technical concepts. Comfortable providing product requirements input to make applications and the UI more robust Experience Required: Passion for product scalability/performance and quality Leadership experience desired. *10 years hands-on experience in performance testing, data collection, analysis and workload characterization, bottleneck identification and capacity planning* *10 years of experience with in-depth knowledge of performance analysis tools, techniques, and benchmarking2+ years of experience with Mobile Performance Testing using tools such as NeoLoad.
