*Send me updated resumes to su...@veritis.com <su...@veritis.com> or you can reach me on 214-257-8266.* *Title: Build Engineer* *Duration: 6 Months CTH* *Location: Milwaukee, WI* *Rate: 50/hr on C2C* · *Jenkins is a MUST* – Candidate should be strongly proficient at Jenkins installation & configuration · Will be joining a team of 3 (1 other software engineer/build, and 2 installers). · Jenkins: Must have STRONG experience with this doing *build and integration and having installed or maintained the system.* · Perl and Shell Script: Be able to write any of the script before/not just read it. · Be able to build, with tools like *GiT, Jenkins and scripting language in general (Perl, Shell Script).* · Make sure they did not work off a pre-configured system! · Pre-Screen question: *Can you take a Perl script (10 to 15 lines), and convert to a Shell script?* *Ideal candidates will have experience with-* · IBM Synergy and/or GIT. · Experience with build automation software such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Team Foundation Server. · Experience with Software build methods such as Ant, Make, MS Build, Perl, and batch scripting. · Experience with build engine configuration – VMWare · Experience with build/supporting both Windows and Linux are a plus · Experience with PHP, MySQL, for basic website deployment is a plus Candidates will be joining our client’s Dev. Ops Team as they transition from IBM Synergy to GIT. This will include checking code, writing/scripting, managing/building multiple servers, and supporting Windows and some Linux. Candidates need to have experience with software build methods that build into binary, as well as experience with build tools such as Jenkins.
