*Position: Security Tester QA* *Location: Denver, CO* *Duration: 6 - 12 Months* *VISA Status: No Constraints* *Pay Rate: $Open/hr on C2C* *No of Positions: 2* *Description:* · Demonstrates leadership in implementing software security standards and controls. · *Applies expert judgment in demonstrating the effectiveness of security controls. * · *2 to 5 years experience and Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002 and Security Testing. * · *2 to 5 years experience and Knowledge of security scanning software such as Appscan, Veracode or similar. * · *5 to 8 years Experience in Windows and Linux Operating Systems* · Performs the role of mentor for less experienced members of the team in demonstrating effective and efficient methods of test execution. · Participates in evaluation of application security data. · Collects the data and provides recommendations to enhance application security. · Knowledge of security related documentation in regards to software development. · Identifies anomalies and provides solutions. · *Demonstrates innovation in generating test plans.* · *Interfaces with internal contacts, decomposes information from requirements and Statements of Work to formulate best practice approaches for application security.* · Identifies security requirements for complex tests. · Creates test cases based on security requirements. · Performs special test procedures as required to application security control verification. · Responsible for developing and presenting both verbally and in writing, technical information and presentations. · *Responsible for ensuring systems have all required security controls in place or compensating mitigation plans as appropriate*.
