*Immediate Need Billing Analyst In Valhalla, NY Rate:$20/HR on C2C* Job Title :Billing Analyst Location: Valhalla, NY Duration: 1 Year Contract
Responsibilities Position interacts with strategic residential or commercial customer accounts that will require independent decision making to successfully resolve customer issues: Review accuracy of invoices produced daily via established QC methodology. Track daily invoices presented to research and resolve any invoices withheld due to exception. Create and prepare invoices for multiple types of commodity customers. Perform research and resolve discrepancies on exception reports often requiring co-ordination with internal departments or utilities. Listen to customer concerns, effectively diffuse dissatisfaction and quickly identify course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times. Educate customers on our products, service, rates and terms & conditions unique to each service territory. Resolve account inquiries such as payment or billing disputes for both external and internal customers. Satisfy customer requests for billing summaries, billing calculations, savings analyses and account reconciliations. Provide all customer relations and account maintenance, from contract inception through expiration including ongoing verification of customer specific data (customer contact data, billing rates and pricing structures) and requests for account adjustments (late payment charge reversals, refunds). Understand internal product & pricing structures and tax rates to make appropriate billing system adjustments to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing. Execute projects as set forth by manager. Education: College degree required or working toward college degree with significant work experience acceptable. Experience: 2-3 years of general customer service experience or professional business experience required. Billing, financial, or accounting experience a plus. Job Skills: Excellent organization and project management skills. Highly motivated self-starter, able to work independently. Superior analytical and problem solving skills. Proven mathematical ability, detail oriented. Ability to apply sound judgment and decision making skills. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility, initiative and dependability.
